December Break

December break started out great and ended great, but in between we had sickness take over our house. We were hoping to see a movie in the theater over the break, but we were so tired of watching movies because that's all we did while everyone was sick.

Here is Samantha with Miss Becky at her Christmas concert. We were late, forgot the teacher's gift, and Jacob had no pants on. BUT, we made it and Sammy sang great!

After Samantha's program Thursday morning, we went to pick up Haley from school and headed up to Pinetop to see Grandma & Grandpa and the snow! This picture was taken not too long after arriving. Jacob couldn't wait to get outside.

The girls being pulled by the 4-wheeler.

The girls love riding together. Samantha's favorite part is falling over into the snow. Haley loves everything about it. Snow suits and hot chocolate make her a happy girl.

Grandpa reading the girls a story. He is so kind that he will read them book after book. They love it.

Grandma Jensen reading to Nathan.

I love this picture of Jacob by the tree. Steve's mom had bought some sleepers at Walmart for the boys to wear over their pjs to stay warm. Jacob loved looking like a baby. This picture reminds me of a picture of Steve we have when he was Jakey's age.

Exchanging gifts with Great Grandpa Duncome and Grandpa.

Grandpa Duncome is sitting in his favorite spot. He likes to make sure the pillow and quilt are correctly situated before he sits down. We so grateful for his example and love him so much. He and Roxie have a special thing going.
Jacob was so cute with Grandpa. He would run up to him and just talk away about everything on his mind, smiling and laughing as he went along. Grandpa can't hear, but would just laugh.

We bought toddler bike helmets so that the boys are a little more protected while riding the quads.

Not liking the snow gear at all.

We went over to the golf course and found a nice little hill to slide down. The walk up wasn't too bad. We took Roxie down a few times, but she wasn't a fan. She did love the snow. She ran like crazy and was so excited to play in it.

I hope I am as brave and as in shape as Grandma when I have grandkids. They have so much fun with her.

The babies could barely move in their snow suits, but here's a happy picture.

Haley doesn't liek taking pictures. She really is so pretty.

Beautiful sunset!

Our kids love to brush their teeth. I'm not sure how well they brush, but even the babies love brushing.

Building the igloo! They have tried to make an igloo before, but this year it worked because the snow was more icey than fluffy. I heard that it has snowed since and the igloo still stands.

My sister Nicole thinks that my kids look like wood sprites or fairies. Samantha looks like she could be in Peter Pan. She wouldn't want to be Tink because she says that Tinkerbell is rude.
